Vice President of Technical Staffing shares one of his goal-reaching success stories.

 

One of many jobs a recruiter has when working with a candidate is helping their candidate and/or client reach their goals. Goal setting is vital when it comes to your career. Goals give you motivation to keep doing better and to reach your ultimate success.

TriStaff’s Vice President of Technical Staffing, Thomas Tanner, ensures that his clients’ and candidates’ goals are mutually met when making a placement. Recently, Thomas placed a candidate with one of TriStaff’s clients. In the technical field, candidates can fall into managerial positions and lose focus on their hands-on coding ability. Thomas had a candidate come forward in a technical managerial position, this candidate no longer felt he was growing in his position and had a goal to get back into coding to further his career.

Thomas and his partner Jim Kearns, were able to find a client looking for a candidate as motivated and driven as the one Thomas was currently working with. Typically, clients look for candidates that are ready to go and hit the ground running once hired. This client was willing to bring on the candidate and work with them, to help reach their own goals. The placement was a perfect match – the candidate and the client are satisfied with the placement and are working on their goals for success.
